1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Peephole mobile application (the "Service"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Peephole ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Peephole provides AI-powered opportunity intelligence for service economy professionals. The Service aggregates publicly available procurement opportunities, grant announcements, consulting RFPs, and related information, and applies AI analysis to surface matches relevant to your professional profile. Features include a personalized opportunity feed, Match Mode AI relevance scoring, a pipeline for tracking active pursuits, and a workspace for drafting deliverables and maintaining engagement context.
The Service is currently focused on the Birmingham, Alabama market, with plans to expand to additional markets.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3.2 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining your account. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for termination of your account.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at peepholebusiness@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3.4 One Account Per User
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create accounts on behalf of others or share your account with third parties.
4. Subscription and Billing
4.1 Pricing
Access to the full Service requires a paid subscription. Current pricing:
- Monthly: $29.00 USD per month
- Annual: $290.00 USD per year (approximately 17% savings versus monthly)
Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
4.2 Free Trial
New subscribers receive an 8-day free trial beginning on the date they provide a valid payment method. During the trial period, you have full access to the Service. Your payment method will not be charged until the trial period ends.
A valid credit or debit card is required to begin a trial. By providing your payment method, you authorize Stripe (our payment processor) to charge you the applicable subscription fee at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current subscription rate. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from within the app under Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to the Service through the end of the period you have already paid for.
4.5 Refund Policy
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access through the end of that period but will not receive a refund for the remaining days.

4.6 Payment Processing
All billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store full payment card information; see our Privacy Policy for details on what billing data we retain.
4.7 Payment in App Store
Peephole subscriptions are purchased via the web signup flow at peephole-marketplace.com/signup, not through Apple's in-app purchase system. This is consistent with Apple's App Store Guidelines for reader apps and B2B SaaS applications.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service for use outside the Service, whether by automated means or otherwise.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute opportunity intelligence content generated by the Service to third parties.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or attempt to derive the source code of any component.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information to manipulate AI matching outputs.
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions, with or without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Property
The Service, including its software, AI models, design, text, graphics, and compilation of opportunity data, is owned by Peephole and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal professional use in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
6.2 Your Data
You retain ownership of the profile information, notes, and other content you input into the Service ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant Peephole a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
6.3 Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
7. AI Recommendations — Disclaimer
The opportunity matching, relevance scores, and strategic analysis generated by Peephole's AI are advisory only. They reflect automated pattern-matching based on your profile and publicly available information, and do not constitute professional advice of any kind — legal, financial, business, or otherwise.
You are solely responsible for independently evaluating any opportunity before committing resources, submitting a proposal, or making business decisions based on information presented in the Service. We make no guarantee that AI-generated analysis is accurate, complete, timely, or suitable for your particular circumstances.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEEPHOLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY OPPORTUNITY DATA OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PEEPHOLE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO PEEPHOLE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
IN NO EVENT WILL PEEPHOLE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peephole and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting peepholebusiness@gmail.com. Deletion of your account terminates your subscription (if active) at the end of the current billing period.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, non-payment, or our business decision to discontinue the Service.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
13. General Provisions
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Peephole regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
13.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
13.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
